Welcome to the MD Label Archive. This page contains the labels of every album I have recorded to MD. In order to use these labels, you must print them out on Avery White Full Sheet Labels (#8165), then cut them out and stick them to your minidiscs. For each album, there are three labels: one for the front of the disc, one for the slipcase, and one for the edge of the disc. These are sized perfectly for all Sony minidiscs and most others. Some discs, like TDK, have a smaller recessed area to put labels on (click here for a comparison), but they still work just fine if you put these sized labels on. The other two labels (slipcase and disc edge) fit fine. E-mail me at rharmes@hotmail.com if you find any other discs that they won't fit on. Enjoy the page and email me with any comments you have.
Minidisc Label News
- Enrique Hernanadez writes:
"www.neato.com/ or www.neato.com/sonymd now has software and minidisc
labels available for minidiscs.
I bought an 8-pack w/case Sony 80 minute minidiscs at Best Buy and the
case came with a free offer for the software and some labels by logging
on the neato website."
- An Avery spokesman has said that they will look into developing a minidisc label if they recieve enough demand. So everyone who reads this please e-mail them! I am working on getting a single e-mail address from Avery, because now they have twenty different addresses, depending on what catagory you think product development falls into. The original message was posted on the MiniDiscussion board.
- SureThing CD/MD labeling software allows you to print out graphics to fit a variety of removable media shapes, including MD. Several people have e-mailed me about it, and apparently it is very good for custom labels, but it doesn't include access to CDDB.
On the Way:
- Improved versions of old labels
- The Slim Shady LP - Eminem
- The Marshal Mathers LP - Eminem
- Greatest Hits - Raheem
And More . . .
To get these images (all in JPEG form), click on the album you want, and when the window loads up either click (for Mac) or right click (for Windows) and hold on the image, then select "Save As".
These labels have all been contributed by other MD enthusiatists. If you would like to contribute to the page, here is
the template I use. Just e-mail them to me.
